What Can You Do at the 5-5-1 Club & Café?
Take advantage of a wide variety of social, recreational, and educational programs. Many activities are offered for free, while others have a cost. Stop by for coffee hour and chat, or put your feet up and read the paper, work on a puzzle, use the computers, or play cards or billiards. Enjoy food and conversation during coffee hour, Waffle Wednesdays, café-style lunches, or Friday special meals. Keep an eye on your health with weekly wellness checks with a registered nurse, wellness presentations, and more. Don’t sit home alone because you don’t have anyone to accompany you on outings. Choose from a broad assortment of outings, ranging from a few hours to a few days. We also have a weekly Walking Club where everyone can participate--no matter how far you are able to walk. Rides to the club are available two days a week. There are also opportunities to get involved through volunteering.
Come, check out the 5-5-1 Club & Café to see how you can put more fun in your life. We are here to make your day!

NO – the community center is NOT moving to the Lyngblomsten Gift Shop space.
YES – the café-style dining (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) that has been operating with the 5-5-1 Club will be discontinued in late June.
YES – Friday special meals that have been served at the 5-5-1 Club will CONTINUE to be offered on Fridays.
YES – the 5-5-1 Club community center will still offer programs, activities, outings, and classes in its current location on campus.
Plans are in the works for a re-envisioned Lyngblomsten Gift & Coffee Shop. The remodeled gift shop will include a café and will be in the current location of the gift/coffee shop on the Lyngblomsten campus near the chapel on the main floor. The grand re-opening is tentatively planned for early July. The current café at the 5-5-1 Club will operate until late June. There is an article on page 9 in the new Winter/Spring edition of Lyngblomsten Lifestyle explaining the reason for the change in the café’s location.
